البطريرك ساكو يزور ابرشية زاخو

زار صباح يوم الاربعاء 27 تشرين الاول 2021 غبطة البطريرك الكردينال مار لويس روفائيل ساكو برفقة الاساقفة مار باسيليوس يلدو ومار روبرت جرجيس ابرشية زاخو وكان في استقبالهم امام دار المطرانية سيادة المطران مار فيلكس الشابي راعي الابرشية والمطران مار ميخائيل نجيب والاباء الكهنة وبعد تبادل السلام والترحيب توجهوا جميعا لزيارة قرية هيزاوه للاطلاع على بناء الكنيسة الجديدة والمقبرة.

بعد ذلك قاموا بزيارة المحافظ السيد كوهدار شيخو، مسؤول الادارة المستقلة في زاخو والذي رحب بغبطة البطريرك والوفد المرافق له.

بعدها استقبل غبطة البطريرك والسادة الاساقفة في دار المطرانية وفد من الوجهاء والاغوات في زاخو وبعض العلماء ورجال الدين ومدراء النواحي وفي مقدمتهم قائمقام زاخو السيد مشير حمد بشير والسيد علي عوني مسؤول الفرع الثامن للحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني وملا سعيد كوللي مدير اوقاف زاخو والشيخ ممدوح مسؤول هيئة علماء المسلمين في زاخو فضلا عن الاباء الكهنة والاخوات الراهبات. وتناول الجميع الغداء في دار المطرانية.

وبعد الظهر قام غبطته والوفد المرافق له بزيارة دير راهبات الكلدان.

عصراً وصل الى زاخو السادة الاساقفة: مار ربان القس، مار ميخا مقدسي ومار بولس ثابت مع لفيف من كهنة المنطقة حيث احتقل الجميع بالقداس الالهي الذي ترأسه غبطة البطريرك في كاتدرائية زاخو بحضور الكهنة والراهبات وحشد كبير من المؤمنين.

في نهاية القداس تبادل الجميع التهاني في قاعة الكنيسة.
